Prime Anaesthetics is a group of anaesthetists with rooms at St George Private Hospital, at 1 South St Kogarah.

Our aim is to provide anaesthetic care of the highest quality and safety for our patients. All of our doctors are fellows of the Australian New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and are recognized as Specialists by the National Specialist Advisory Committee.

Our anaesthetists provide high quality anaesthesia services in a range of surgical areas, including gynaecology and obstetrics, orthopaedics, (including the subspecialties of hand surgery, elbow, shoulder, spine and joint replacement surgery), upper gastrointestinal surgery including procedures for obesity, plastic surgery, paediatrics, major cardiothoracic and liver surgery and others.

We pride ourselves on a strong commitment to continuing professional development to ensure the provision of the best available evidence and latest medical advances to our patients, surgeons and hospitals.

We also have a commitment to education and research in the fields of anaesthesia and peri-operative medicine, and are involved in the teaching and training of nursing and medical students, resident doctors and our specialist colleagues.
